Independence Day weekend was very festive for AmCham! Saturday, July 3, 2010 the members of AmCham, the english speaking community, and Harley Davidson, celebrated at Marriott Champs Elysées with a slew of festivities. The next day, July 4th, a parade of more than 200 Harley Davidson motorcycles left from AmCham's offices, and rode to celebrate American Independence! The events started on saturday July 3, with an American style lunch, followed by a selection of the nicest customized Harley (chosen by a panel of judges). A casual cocktail with music from the Disney Dixieland band in the terrace of the Marriott kicked off the night's festivities, and at 20h, the real party began with music, swing dancing, a fashion show and American food! On Sunday July 4th, Harley Davidson riders came from all over to show their support for the 4th of July and ride in the first ever (police escorted) motorcycle parade through Paris. The parade started at AmCham's offices and continued to Ave. de Friedland – Place Charles de Gaulle-Etoile – Ave d’Iéna –Place des États Unis  -  Ave. d’Iéna  -  Ave. des Nations Unis – Place de Varsovie –Pont d’Iéna and ended at Marriott Rive Gauche.     We would like to thank our sponsors: (Diamond) Marriott Champs Elysees, Harley Davidson, Ernst & Young.
