Types of Events

US Government Series
Events with speakers from the US Embassy in Paris, the US Missions to the OECD, UNESCO, and the European Union, or with US government officials visiting Paris.

French Government Series
Events featuring French government officials, often on technical aspects of legislation of interest to members and the 'Task Forces.

Task Force events
Speakers and seminars organized by or based around one of the Task Forces.

CEO Lunches
Lunches featuring prominent French and US CEOs.

AmCham Networking Cocktails
These include the monthly "AmCham After Hours," Task Force and New Members networking cocktails, as well as the annual All American Alumni Clubs cocktail.

Annual General Meeting
An annual event held in mid-January, following a board meeting. It gathers AmCham members, partner organizations, and high-ranking guests from the private and public sectors, with a featured speaker.

US Independence Day Celebration
An annual event held on July 3rd or 4th in the evening. As honorary AmCham France President, the US Ambassador or his designate is the featured speaker. Participants include members and American partner organizations.

Benjamin Franklin Awards Dinner
A gala event, usually held in the winter, honoring a prominent individual who has played an extraordinary role in promoting trans-Atlantic cooperation and understanding.

The AmCham-Marriott Expat Ball  
A gala dinner and dancing event for all expats, regardless of nationality, and others internationally inclined.

 

Most events are organized directly by AmCham France. However, at times AmCham will work with its many partner organizations to co-sponsor events.
