AmCham Women Leaders Program
The mission of the program is to provide a platform for high-ranked women within the AmCham member organizations to strengthen their access to a business network, to exchange ideas and respective best practices from their companies and to engage public authorities on a discussion for policy solutions.

Hospitality and Travel
The Hospitality and Travel Working Committee helps its members attract business and investment to France.  By sharing best practices, we support U.S. brands trying to succeed in the France, and help French brands get established in the U.S.   Members include hotels, restaurants, travel companies, and event/conference planners.

Talent Management 
The Talent Management Working Committee is tailored to serve the needs of human resource directors of member companies and human resource consultants and contractors. It discusses subjects such as performance evaluation, diversity in the workplace, French labor law and the 35-hour work week, and workplace and cultural differences between France and the US. It presents experts from member firms, government and associations, and may organize networking events.

Legal Affairs

Composed of senior outside counsel, governmental affairs specialists, and in-house lawyers from U.S. and French law firms and companies, the Legal Affairs Working Committee treats legal and legislative subjects of concern to AmCham member firms. It formulates positions for use with the media and government. While the focus is on French laws and regulations, the Working Committee also keeps abreast of U.S. legislative developments that could have a bearing on business operations overseas.

Digital Economy
This Working Committee safeguards U.S. firms’ business interests as France reforms its broadcasting and telecom laws in the light of internal policies and EU Directives. Subjects include extending broadcasting regulation to non-linear programming, technological and service neutrality, legislation on "television of the future," fiber-to-the-home projects, consumer protection for cable and broadband subscribers, and privacy issues.

Professional Women 

The Professional Women Working Committee provides educational and networking opportunities for professional women from all career paths. It hosts speakers--including, among others, successful women executives, well known newsmakers, and authors--on subjects of interest to members, and it organizes social events such as cocktail receptions and guided tours. Long-range plans include a newsletter, a resources data-base and orientation seminars for newcomers to the region.

Strategic Development and M&A

The purpose of theWorking Committee is to gather professionnals from all backgrounds who have a connection with the field of strategic development/M&A in order to share their experience and discern market trends and best practices in the business, legal, financial and other related areas.

Taxation
The Taxation Working Committee tracks taxation policies in France and the U.S., including the U.S. – France Double Taxation Treaty, inviting appropriate speakers and preparing position papers as necessary. It maintains close working contact with the tax administrations in both France and the United States.

Training & Education

The Training and Education Working Committee coordinates the Chamber's ongoing partnership with the academic and training community in France and acts as liaison with appropriate associations and French government institutions on relevant issues. Its members include representatives of business, education institutions, and professionals in the education and training field.

As part of its activities, the Working Committee hosts training events and presentations that may be of a general interest to the members of the Chamber.

Policy Advocacy Steering Committee

The Policy Advocacy Steering Committee is the voice of the AmCham in the public debate. The committee, made up of representatives of AmCham member companies, aims to express and promote their common positions on major economic and political issues, producing recommendations and establishing a dialogue with French policymakers.
