RER
The RER is a regional express train. There are five different lines (A, B, C, D and E) which take you in and around the Paris region quickly, including its suburbs. This is an easy way to get to places located right outside the downtown Paris area, such as the Chateau de Versailles, Disneyland Paris, and the Airports.  The RER is intertwined with the metro system, and can be taken from various locations all around the city or the suburbs which lead into the city.
