Robert Vassoyan

Robert Vassoyan is President of Cisco France since August 2011.

Convinced that Cisco has to play a crucial role to support the digital transformation of companies and the territory, he implements the unique partnership signed with the French government in February 2015.

This plan, one of the most ambitious launched by Cisco in the world, notably includes massive investments in startups and innovation ecosystem, a promising and prioritized sector for France. It also encompasses cooperation agreements in the field of education and training for networking and digital skills. All these measures have the objective of contributing to the digitization of the French economy.

This program illustrates Robert Vassoyan’s ambition to leverage and expand the growth of Cisco in France, which he joined in 2007, while strengthening the company’s foothold within the social and economic landscape of the country.

Robert Vassoyan joined Cisco France as Sales Director in charge of the French Small & Medium Businesses market and member the Executive Committee, before being promoted Managing Director for the Enterprise market (Major Accounts) a year later. He was then appointed President of Cisco France in August 2011.

After his graduation from French business school ESSEC, he started his career at Renault in 1990. He then joined Compaq France where he held various positions including Marketing Director and Sales Director for the SMB market. In 2002, he became Director of the Servers division for HP France before moving on to an international role as Head of Alliances for HP EMEA.
