    Come to a roundtable discussion with one of the foremost US government experts on technology policy, standards, IPR, and e-commerce. Helping US businesses by promoting trade and investment, strengthening industry
    competitiveness, ensuring fair trade are just three of US Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce Michelle O'Neill's present priorities.  Prior to assuming these duties she was Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Technology and Chief Operating Officer of theTechnology Administration, which includes the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  She has also been Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Technology Industries at Commerce, playing an instrumental role in US e-commerce policy, including establishing the US government's first Office of Electronic Commerce.  She is not new to Paris, having served as Senior Commercial Officer for the Foreign Commercial Service at the OECD from 1995-1998
