• US Business Lobbying Priorities, Dan Christman, US Chamber of Commerce

    October 26 2007, 08:30 - 08:30
    Location: AmCham France

Dan Christman, who directs the US Chamber's international activities and thus is the principal liaison with AmChams worldwide, will discuss the policy priorities of the US private sector for the coming year. These include the US-EU regulatory cooperation initiative, US anti-counterfeiting efforts, the US cargo screening rule, Sarbanes Oxley and more. Mr. Christman's visit comes on the eve of President Sarkozy's state visit to Washington; and during a period when the French government is already preparing its priorities for its EU Presidency in July 2008. This is your chance to underline the priorities of AmCham France member companies to an organization with direct access to the US Government. The US Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions. It includes hundreds of associations, thousands of local chambers, and 106 American Chambers of Commerce in 91 countries.
