The Untied States Air Force, a leader in the quest to find an alternative source for aviation fuel as well as a leader in infrastructure energy use reductions, has developed a new energy strategy that will reduce demand, increase supply, and change the culture to make energy conservation a priority.  The US Air Force, as an important user of aviation fuel and with constructive links to innovative research and development instututions, is in a unique position to address these urgent energy issues.  As Assistant Secretary for Installations, Environment and Logistics, William Anderson is the USAF's Senior Energy Executive, who is driving this transformational effort that is catching the eye of US Government Officials and private industry.

Mr. Anderson, trained as a lawyer, served in a variety of financial and tax consulting positions at Merrill Lynch, Arthur Anderson, and Ryder Systems.  He then joined the General Electric Company, as Tax Counsel, General Counsel and Director of Environmental and Quality Affairs for GE's electrical products business in Europe.  He returned to the US as the General Manager and Senior Counsel, Environmental Health and Safety.
