How new technologies are changing the landscape
    Wednesday, 13 May 2009, 8h30 – 11h00
At AmCham, 156 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris

The use of new technologies is exploding – in communication, in people networking, in collaborative working, and even in politics (as we saw in the last U.S. election).  This provides new opportunities in the field of training and education.  In addition to the use of Internet based platforms for student interaction, people are now using virtual classrooms, chat sessions, webinars, Web 2.0, video co-delivery, social networks, videos for recruiting, and more.  The possibilities seem to be unlimited – and confusing.
In challenging economic times, the use of new technologies is allowing companies and education institutions to reach a wider audience and achieve greater effectiveness, while reducing costs.
Join us for this conference where we will examine the tools, how they are being used, and what the future may bring.  The expert panelists will share with us their insights into the possibilities and pitfalls of using technology to advantage in the sector of training and education.

    The panel will consist of:
Miguel MEMBRADO, Founder & CEO, Kimind Consulting
Xavier MOISANT, Director of Interactive Strategy, Edelman
Vincent MONTET, Associate IRM-Agency and Director of Master in E-Commerce at EMLV
Dominique RICHARD, PDG Achieve Global France
Andrew SKOBINSKY, Senior Consultant, Aperian Global
Mark Louis UHRICH, M. Uhrich and Associates, Associate Professor EMLV

The discussions will be conducted in French & English – according to the native language of the individual.

The conference will begin at 8h30 with coffee / tea and will conclude at 11h with an opportunity for continuing discussions and networking.
