  • Roundtable Breakfast with the Minister for the Digital Economy Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet

    April 28 2009, 08:45 - 08:45
Location: Ministry for the Digital Economy, Hotel de Broglie, 35-37 rue Saint-Dominique, Paris 75007

On April 28th, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, Minister of State to the Prime Minister with responsibility for Forward Planning, Assessment of Public Policies and Development of the Digital Economy graciously invited senior AmCham members to a roundtable discussion on the development of the digital economy and information society in France.

She has just come back from an introductory tour of the United States and meetings with the Obama administration and other experts, so this was an excellent chance to exchange views on e-commerce, telecoms, the internet and related issues.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Ms. Kosciusko-Morizet has worked as an advisor to the Prime Minister on ecology and sustainable development, and was in charge of the environmental division of the foreign economic relations department at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.  She has also worked as counsellor to the director of strategy of Alstom.  Ms. Kosciusko-Morizet started a parallel political career in 2002, and presently serves as Deputy Secretary General of the UMP party, Deputy for Essonne and Regional Counsellor, and Mayor of Longjumeau (Essonne).

April 28, 8:45-9:45 a.m. at the Ministry for the Digital Economy, Hotel de Broglie, 35-37 rue Saint-Dominique, Paris 75007
