    Legal Lingua, in conjunction with The American Chamber of Commerce’s Training and Education Task Force, announce the Legal English Training Program – Part III in preparation for the International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) developed by Cambridge University.     The training program is designed to improve the legal English skills of non-native English speaking legal professionals who work in an international environment. There is no requirement to take the ILEC examination. Membership in AmCham is NOT required.

    Stephanie Schantz is an American lawyer and director of Legal Lingua with over 10 years experience in the legal field. She received her Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelors Degree (BA) in government from Franklin and Marshall College. Additionally, she studied at Sciences Po and La Sorbonne in Paris, France. Since moving to France, Stephanie has lectured at the University of Paris II (Pantheon-Assas) and at ESC-Dijon. She currently teaches “The Language of American Law: An Introduction” at Sciences Po.

    Lawyers can earn up to 28 hours of Continuing Legal Education Credit in France, California and, New York.
