    A presentation and contrast of National Governance Systems, with a focus on the United States and Europe. The presentation will focus on the origins and characteristics of the respective governance systems and, more importantly, how this impacts the contemporary organizations. This discussion will focus on recent developments in governance on both sides of the Atlantic and will also review the current state of governance reform measures.
    Whether you are an aspiring or established corporate executive, this presentation will better help you understand the implicit framework in which your organization operates.
    About the Speaker
    David Russell  is a Professor of Strategic Management, International Strategy and Corporate Governance. He is a Professor at EM Lyon, Université Catholique de Lyon, and Paris School of Business. His research has focused on corporate board and governance issues.
    With extensive teaching and research experience around the world, he has been a visiting professor at the University of Birmingham, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Higher School of Economics, Moscow and other institutions.He is also the Dean of the International MBA Programs and Paris School of Business.
