     The AmCham IT, New Media and Privacy Working Committee invites you to a breakfast meeting with one of the United States' top policy makers on telecom and Internet issues.

    Assistant Secretary Strickling is head of the NTIA, the U.S. Government Agency that serves as the principal advisor to the President on broadband, Internet, and spectrum policy for the United States.  Assistant Secretary Strickling is one of President Obama's closest advisors on telecommunications and Internet issues, and a key architect of U.S. broadband recovery measures.  Mr. Strickling will meet with AmCham members to engage in a dialogue regarding U.S., European and French broadband, Internet and spectrum policy, including:
    • Results of the G8 on Internet issues;
    • Pursuit of Internet Policy-making Principles at the OECD High Level Meeting June 28-29, 2011;
    • Wireless broadband initiatives in the USA and throughout Europe
