    AmCham Insights: tourism sector challenges in Paris and government efforts for recovery and growth

    We are pleased to invite you to the first Hospitaly and Tourism committee event of the year! 
    Join us for a discussion in the presence of guest speaker Agnès Romatet-Espagne as we look at tourism promotion and challenges. Agnès Romatet-Espagne, Head of the Business and International Economy Directorate (Globalization, Development and Partnerships) in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development since September 2014.

    Agnès Romatet-Espagne entered the French Foreign Ministry in July 1983. A diplomat, some of her missions abroad include:  Madrid, Amman, Ottawa, and Canberra, as  Head of the Economic Unit (2011-2014). In 2007-2008, she was Head of the Private Office and of Communication of the Minister of State for European Affairs, Jean-Pierre Jouyet. She also seconded to the French Financial Markets Authority, between 2008-2011. In September 2014, Laurent Fabius appointed Agnès Romatet-Espagne Head of the Business and International Economy Directorate. Her portfolio includes tourism promotion
