• AmCham Insights: The Future of Work

    March 10 2016, 18:00 - 21:30
Location: AmCham France, 77 rue de Miromesnil 75008 Paris

This event is now full. We cannot accept any further registrations.

Last year, our growing eco-system of women at AmCham created the right momentum to organize AmCham Women’s Week with the support of Citi and our Women Committee. This program featured a French/American view in honor of International Women’s Day (March 8). In 2016, AmCham Women’s Week is back and better than ever! Join us for a full program, starting on Monday 7 March and ending on Friday 11 March, around the theme of elevating young women in their career. We'll be releasing more details in the coming weeks, so follow us on Twitter using the hashtag #AmChamWomen to not miss out on any events.

The event will start with a roundtable discussion with the leaders of the mentoring taskforce Audra Shallal and Paige Bradely Frost who will present AmCham's new mentoring toolkit. Following 6 months of hard work, this toolkit is the precursor to an AmCham-wide mentoring program open to all members. Join us on March 10th to give us your feedback, and sign up for the pilot program (either as a mentee or mentor).

We’ll then welcome a special keynote speaker! This young lady is an inspiration to many entrepreneurs, and business people in the corporate world.

Rahaf Harfoush is a Strategist, Digital Anthropologist, and Best-Selling Author who focuses on the intersections between emerging technology, innovation, and digital culture. Her second book, “The Decoded Company: Know Your Talent Better Than You Know Your Customers,” is a New York Times Best Seller and winner of a 2015 Gold Axiom Award. She is currently working on her third book entitled “Hustle and Float: Balancing Execution and Inspiration in a World of Constant Connection.”  Formerly, Rahaf was the Associate Director of the Technology Pioneer Programme at the World Economic Forum in Geneva where she helped identify disruptive-startups that were improving the state of the world.

The evening will end with a networking cocktail reception.

Due to the popularity of this event, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
This event is open (15 EUR) to AmCham Members and Non Members.
