    "What school adminstrators and students need to know about internships in the US"

    With the summer fast approaching it is time to secure internships for students in the US.  Changes in visa procedures and misconceptions about the application process will make this a valuable session on the practical aspects of organizing internships in the US, and how to best council students.  Speakers from the Consular section of the US Embassy, a J-1 visa providing organization and a Human Resource representatives from a US multinational companies will seek to demystify the process, shed light on new procedures, and help identify what makes an intern stand out.  At this event AmCham will also demonstrate a new web platform that will allow interns and companies to connect online.

    This will be followed by a similar event directed toward students and potential interns to be held at the Franco-American Commission on Educational Exchange on March 27 (invitation to follow later)
