• A Strategic Development and M&A Working Committee Event: JOINT VENTURES IN MATURE AND IN EMERGING MARKETS

    February 07 2013, 01:00 - 01:00

Joint ventures have become widely accepted as the best vehicle for strategic development in certain circumstances. But forming and managing joint ventures encompass challenges that are not necessarily foreseen. In what circumstances should companies decide to enter into JVs? Are there differences in managing JV partners in emerging and mature markets? Minority or majority owned JVs? What are the typical risks involved in such ventures and how can they be mitigated? Have these risks evolved in the current global economic context?

Rolando Furlong and Jean-Philippe Carrière will exchange their views and experiences on this topic, followed by an active dialog with the other attendees.

The panel discussion will start promptly at 8:30am. Our Committee will welcome you as of 8:00am, with coffee and viennoiseries.

We look forward to seeing you!
